Sunday Night Bullets

I randomly decided to make a trip back home this weekend. It's "Columbus Days," which is a celebration around town filled with tons of fun things. It ended up raining, so most of the stuff I was going back to watch my nieces and nephews do, ended up getting cancelled!

  • Made the drive back on Friday and picked my Dad up to head down to the Foam Party downtown. Basically, its a machine that makes a whole bunch of bubbles and kids play in it and get covered. It smells really awesome, but by the end of the night it's pretty much disgusting and gross.
  • Picked Mom up and went with my family to watch a band play.
  • We were supposed to start out the morning with 2 soccer games, but those both got cancelled. So we watch my niece dance.

  • Mom and I did some thrifting and garage sale-ing and I scored this awesome table. If you know me, you know how much I love yellow...can't wait to get some new knobs for this!

  • Hung around at home and got some things done and watched a movie.
  • Made the very early drive back to Lincoln to work at the hospital. Morning driving is one of my favorite times. It was foggy and the sun was rising. I ended up pulling over at least 10 times to take pictures.

  • Went down to my very last Big Red Welcome. It's a huge event with tons of tents and tables set up for everything around campus/Lincoln. It's full of free food, coupons, contests, candy, and information about organizations for students. Here's my collection after throwing tons away!

  1. Oh my gosh, that foam party look like so much fun! Wish we had one of those in my hometown - the kiddos would LOVE it! :)
