I just finished this new photography book I got, and the guy really stressed taken tons of pictures of yourself! That's definitely not my thing, but I tried it anyway. (Mainly because there was nothing picture worthy today)
By the way, my contacts are ginormous.
Today was the Lincoln Arts Festival at Southpointe. It comes every year and tons of artists from around the country come and show off their stuff. If I was rich, I would've left with tons of new art to hang all over my house. But sadly, I don't have $500 for an 8x10 picture of some really cool looking trees. It's still a really awesome thing to go check out though, there's even food and bands playing.
I wish I would've left with a much better picture showing what it's really like, but I turned around and clicked this right before I was leaving and didn't have time for another.
Today started out rainy and cold, and ended up hot and sunny. I took out my camera to take some pictures, took a quick (really bad) one of the sun, got to talking, and completely forgot about taking another picture. So I leave you with a worthless picture of the sun...
Tonight I went downtown with some people for dinner, a 21st birthday party, and some serious people watching. So much random stuff goes on down there I could sit and watch it forever! Here's some people that were grilling sausages on the street corner and giving out tons of free samples.
I'm in a Children's Literature class this semester. It's actually not that hard, but is taking over my life along with the rest of my classes. I have been reading kids books nonstop. I just checked out over 10 books from a city library and have read dozens in class. And, I'm actually learning a ton!
I was on campus tonight and there were tons of people playing capture the flag in front of Selleck. I was instantly jealous of life in the dorms. While I was there, I couldn't wait to get out, but now that I have a house, I miss it a lot. I definitely didn't take advantage of campus life at all.
